Logos
Among my
favorite things to design are logos. It is a major source of pride
for me when I'm asked to design a logo because it means that I am
being trusted with creating a key element of a organization’s
identity. More often than not, the logo is the first thing that greets
a consumer as well as the first thing the consumer identifies with
the product.
My
approach to logo design focuses on creating a graphic that is easily
presentable in a two-color format, but can also be adapted to more
elaborate color palettes. When designing, I try very hard to foresee
the possible uses of my logos, as well as how they can be adapted
to various promotional campaigns. A good example of this is the United
By Drums flag campaign.

This is the logo I designed for United by Drums,
a messageboard for drummers.

Expanding upon the original UbD logo, I have also
done extensive holiday theme variations.

These are just a few samples from UbD's flag campaign.
I'm very proud of them because they help outline the idea of how
a common interest can bring a diverse group of people together. They
also serve as a means of target advertising, so that if UbD members
use them as sigpics on forums that cater to local rather than global
interests, the site is presented
as a place that is geared toward that area of the world.
